Educational Trips and Adventures

At our school, learning goes far beyond the classroom walls! Each grade embarks on exciting, educational journeys packed with adventure, discovery, and hands-on experiences.

Grade 1 – First Big Adventure!

Our youngest explorers kick off their school adventures with a magical trip to Moholoholo for their very first sleepover experience! They also visit the Hoedspruit Endangered Species Centre and the HoedspruitRepitle Park, where they learn about animal care and wildlife conservation.

Grade 2 – Into the Wild

Grade 2 steps deeper into the wonders of nature with a bushwalk at Moholoholo and an engaging tour of the Moholoholo Rehabilitation Centre, discovering fascinating facts about rescued animals and environmental care.

Grade 3 – Nature & Heritage Discovery

Grade 3 learners journey along the Panorama Route to Sabi, stopping at the Horseshoe Trout Farm to learn about fish farming. The adventure continues at the Nelspruit Botanical Gardens, where they explore biodiversity and plant life. The day ends with a sleepover at Queen’s River Adventure Camp, before returning via the Barberton Museum for a deep dive into cultural and historical treasures.

Grade 4 – Underground Wonders & Dino World

Grade 4 goes back in time at the Sudwala Caves and Sudwala Dinosaur Park, uncovering the secrets of the ancient world. They also enjoy team-building challenges at Queen’s River Adventure Park, making this trip both educational and unforgettable.

Grade 5 – Safari Thrills & Water Fun

Grade 5 heads to Tshukudu Game Reserve for a sleepover safari, featuring a thrilling night game drive to see wildlife up close. The next morning, they enjoy a scenic boat ride at Bly Dam before returning to school with exciting memories.

Grade 6 – Wilderness Camping & Survival Skills

Grade 6 learners experience two adventurous days at the Hoedspruit Environmental Centre! From camping under the stars in tents to learning essential survival skills, this trip builds independence, teamwork, and confidence.

Grade 7 – Coastal Adventure in Durban

To crown their primary school journey, Grade 7 learners enjoy a week-long coastal adventure in Durban! Packed with beach activities, cultural tours, and unforgettable fun, this trip is the ultimate send-off for our seniors.

To strengthen technological skills, we offer computer literacy from Grade R through Grade 7, and in 2024, we introduced Robotics and Coding as a subject, preparing learners with 21st-century problem-solving and innovation skills.
